SC Series - Straight Masking Caps
Features:
- Excellent sealing due to flexible material
- Masking for studs and tube ends
- Although designed as a cap, they can be used to plug holes if inverted
- Silicone: premium masking material (due to high temperature and chemical resistance) can be used multiple times
- EPDM: a more economical material with reduced heat resistance. Also reusable
- Applications: powder coating, e-coating, plating, anodizing and blasting
-
TS Series - Tear Tab Caps for SAE/ JIC Threads
Features:
- Designed with a tear tab for easy removal
- Made to protect standard threads from damage but versatile enough to be used in numerous applications
-
SCE Series - Easy Pull Masking Caps
Features:
Silicon Features
Internal design provides a positive seal while the wide flange allows for easy removal. Reusable and will not melt or harden
Industries: Powder coating, E-coating, Plating and Anodizing
EPDM Features
Internal design provides a positive seal while the wide flange allows for easy removal. Excellent chemical resistance and reusable.
Industries: Powder Coating, E-coating, Plating, Anodizing and Sand Blasting, Lower cost alternative to Silicone if higher than 350 ºF (176 ºC) is not needed. -
VC Series - Round Vinyl Caps
Series VC Caps are extremely flexible and durable protective closures which are ideal for use as thread protectors, dust and moisture seals, pipe and stud end color coding, and for masking during painting or plating operations.
If your application is exposed to extreme heat, try our HVC series. The HVC series is manufactured in our Flex500® material that offers heat resistance up to and beyond 500 ºF. Caplugs Flex500® material maintains the same flexible nature of standard vinyl, but offers the added heat resistance for finishing applications such as powder coating, e-coating, and more. -
Y Series - Tear Tab Caps for NPT Threads
Features:
- Designed with a tear tab for easy removal
- Made to protect NPT threads from damage but versatile enough to be used in numerous applications
-
ASC Series - Threaded Aluminum Caps for Threaded Flared Fittings
A standard aerospace and fluid power protective cap, the Series ASC has a nose section design that forms a low pressure seal on threaded, flared fittings. A more positive seal is possible with the addition of a sealing disc (Series ASC-DN). Stock sealing discs are neoprene; Butyl or Buna N rubber are also available.
-
Moss Series - Metric Threaded Caps
Features:
- Protects threaded components from dust, moisture, and damage during production, storage and shipment.
- Designed with an easy to grip head for ease of the hand installation.
-
QFC Series - Quick Fit Caps
Features:
- Fewer thread forms allow for quick application.
-
GP Series/Heavy Duty - Non-Threaded Tapered Dual Function Plastic Caps and Plugs
Features:
- Heavy-duty design includes a rugged wall and seal rings for maximum protection.
- The tapered design allows the part to plug multiple inner diameters or cap multiple outside diameters.
- Plug dimension “A” should be approximately 1% larger than the inner diameter of the part. Minimum of .020”.
- Cap dimension “E” should be approximately 1% smaller that the outside diameter of the part. Minimum of .020”.
-
Number Series - Non-Threaded Tapered Dual-Function Plastic Caps and Plugs
Features:
- Protects against damage, dirt, moisture, and corrosion during storage and shipping.
